The steel bay-window caboose used by the Valley River Model Railroad Club numbered X-743
was built for the Southern Railroad in 1949 and saw many years of faithful service before
being retired in the late 1980's.

New Floor Completed thanks to Dr. Jeff Taylor and others.
Thanks to Jeff and Grant Taylor with a big hand from Kevin Rustausky and Tim Lescalleet. the sparkling new floor is now completed in our caboose.  Next stop - layout construction!!  April 25th, 2008
