The club members gathered in December to clean out the
club house. Many hours later the caboose sparkled inside and out and was
ready for renovation. The renovation is complete and the layout work has
started

Valley River Model Railroad Club!
Valley River Model Railroad Club is a non profit organization
established to promote the hobby of Model Railroading.
Our
next Club Meeting is Thursday, November 20th at the L & N Depot at
6PM. Come tour the Depot and the caboose. Layout
work is well underway. Stop in and see the progress your club has
made. Visitors are always welcome. See you at our next meeting!
Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 6th in conjunction with the Christmas Parade and Holiday House Tour. The Caboose will be decorated for the holidays and open to the public for the festivities.
Club News: On Thursday, September 11th, the Valley River Model Railroad Club will hold it’s regular monthly meeting at the L&N Depot in Downtown Murphy beginning at 6 p.m. The interested public is cordially invited to attend.
The
Valley River Model Railroad Club (VRMRC) is constructing an N-scale
layout depicting local area railroading inside the Southern caboose
adjacent to the L&N Depot. It is expected the layout will be open for
public viewing by Labor Day. For more information about the VRMRC,
